St. Luke's Students Win Computer Programming Competition
St. Luke's 3 teams all placed in the top ten at the Quinnipiac University HS computer programming competition on April 29.

St. Luke’s won first place at the 12th annual Quinnipiac University High School computer programming competition on Saturday, April 29. The three St. Luke’s teams, each comprised of three students, all placed within the top ten out of the twenty-two groups participating. Each team was given up to three hours to solve the most problems in the fastest time.
The competition’s first place team of Gracie Zaro ‘17 (Wilton), Dominic DeMarco ‘18 (New Canaan) and Hannah Amendola ‘19 (Fairfield) each received a $100 Amazon card for their win. The other St. Luke’s teams in the top ten were Ian Smith ’17 (Wilton), Ben Jackson ‘18 (Pound Ridge), Sophia Feldman ‘18 (Westport); and Dennis Polyakov ‘18 (Norwalk), Jamie Ullman ‘21 (New Canaan), Ajit Akole ‘18 (Norwalk). St. Luke's Upper School computer science teacher and event chaperone Zach Brusko said, “This was a tough competition, and as rookies up against teams with more competition experience. I was thrilled at how well all the St. Luke’s teams did.”
