Troconis Ordered To Testify In Fotis Dulos Civil Case: Report

A judge has order Michelle Troconis to testify in a civil case filed by the mother of missing New Canaan mom Jennifer Farber Dulos.

NEW CANAAN, CT — Michelle Troconis has been ordered to testify in a civil lawsuit filed by Gloria Farber, the mother of missing New Canaan mom Jennifer Farber Dulos, against son-in-law Fotis Dulos, reports the Stamford Advocate.

Farber and Fotis Dulos have been wrangling in court over repayment of millions of dollars in loans from Farber to Fotis Dulos since before her daughter went missing on May 24.

Attorneys for Troconis had argued against her testifying in part because they said she could be put into a situation where she might self-incriminate herself, thus violating her Fifth Amendment rights, according to the publication.

After the disappearance, Fotis Dulos and Farber have fought over custody of the five Dulos children, who temporarily have been awarded to Farber. Jennifer Dulos and Fotis Dulos were in the midst of a contentious divorce and child custody battle at the time of her disappearance.

Both Troconis and Fotis Dulos have been accused of hindering a prosecution and evidence tampering in connection with Jennifer Dulos' disappearance, and both cases are pending separately.
