Woman Accused Of Kicking New Canaan Police Officer During Arrest
The suspect from Darien has been arrested by the department in the past.

NEW CANAAN, CT — A 37-year-old Darien woman, who got into a similar dust up with police last year, was charged with assaulting a police officer after police stopped her on bicycle and she kicked one of them, according to New Canaan police.
Arrested Monday, Jan. 15, was Adaobi Kurylov, of Camp Avenue, who was pulled over on Main Street near Burtis Avenue in New Canaan on a warrant for failure to appear in connection with the previous charges from September 2017. Police said that while she was riding, Kurylov also disobeyed traffic signals.
"Upon taking Kurylov into custody on the active [warrant] she resisted arrest and kicked the arresting officer, was not cooperative during the booking process and interfered with the officers in the booking area when trying to fingerprint her," wrote New Canaan police in a statement.
