Bullet 'Grazed' Bus With 4 Children Aboard In Hill Monday: Schools

A schools spokesperson said all the children are safe. A car was also hit by a bullet very nearby, police said.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A school bus carrying four children was grazed by a bullet in the Hill Monday afternoon, New Haven schools confirmed. The students were "all safe," New Haven Public Schools spokesperson Justin Harmon said.

Very nearby, at around 3:30 p.m., police tape corralled a car that also has been struck near the intersection of Kimberly and Lamberton avenues.

Police did not confirm details about the school bus being struck.
