Man Parked In Driveway Victim Of Armed Carjacking: New Haven Police
A total of three suspects were involved in the armed carjacking, police said.
NEW HAVEN, CT — Police are investigating an armed carjacking that occurred Thursday night.
At 7:26 p.m. police responded to the 1200 block of State Street for a reported armed carjacking.
Police said the victim told them that he was sitting in his parked car in the driveway when a man approached his driver's side window and asked for money, then brandished a handgun and pointed it at him.

Two other men entered the rear of the car, forced the victim out, and fled east on State Street, police said.
The vehicle was found a short time later unoccupied.

The description of the first suspect is a Black man, light-skinned, possibly in his forties, skinny build, last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and jeans, and armed with a black handgun, police said.
The second suspect is a Black man, possibly in his thirties, skinny build, shorter stature, short hair, and armed with a taser, police said. There is no description of the third man, police said.
