3 Accused Of Dumping Man's Body In New London Parking Lot: PD
Police said they have arrested two men and are still searching for a woman after they allegedly dumped a man's body in a parking lot in May.
NEW LONDON, CT — Police said they have arrested two men and are still searching for a woman after a man's body was found in a New London parking lot in May.
According to a news release, police said on May 7 at approximately 7:09 a.m., officers responded to Cedar Grove Avenue for a report of a deceased man discovered in the lot of the property. Officers subsequently located the man, who was later identified as Lebro Mei, police said.
Police said after further investigation, officers determined 51-year-old William Dietz of New London, 38-year-old Gabrielle Fox of New London and 54-year-old William Garrett dropped Mei’s body in the parking lot after he overdosed and suffered medical complications.

According to police, all three suspects were actively involved in the incident. Arrest warrants were obtained for all three suspects.
Police said Dietz was arrested on Aug. 14 and charged with removal of a body of deceased person, reckless endangerment, tampering with evidence and conspiracy to commit tampering with evidence.

Police said active warrants for Fox and Garrett remain.
Charges against Garrett include removal of a body of deceased person, tampering with evidence and conspiracy to commit tampering with evidence, police said. The accused is currently incarcerated at Corrigan-Radgowski Correctional Facility in Uncasville on unrelated charges, and police said the warrant will be served at his next scheduled court date on Sept. 5.
Police said despite ongoing efforts to locate Fox, officers have been unsuccessful. Her arrest warrant charges include removal of a body of deceased person, tampering with evidence and conspiracy to commit tampering with evidence, police said.
