3 New Police Officers To Be Sworn In Wednesday

And the three entry level police candidates will begin training at the Connecticut Police Officers Training Academy on Friday Jan. 10.

NEW LONDON, CT — New London Mayor Michael Passero, Police Chief Peter Reichard, City Council and the New London Police Department will be welcoming and swearing in three new police recruits at New London Police Headquarters in the Police Chief’s conference room Wednesday, Jan. 8 at 3 p.m.

The three entry level police candidates being sworn in are:

James J. Palmer, 23, from Milford, graduated from Jonathan Law High School and then Southern Connecticut State University with a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Sports Management and Coaching.

Kaisea Caramante, 26, from Old Lyme, graduated from Lyme-Old Lyme High School, and is attending Mitchell College and working towards bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science.

Roland Desnoyers, 27, from Niantic, graduated from St. Bernard High School, and is attending Mitchell College, with studies towards a degree in Environmental Science.
