40 New Jobs To Be Created In New London By Yale New Haven Health

NEW LONDON, CT - Yale New Haven Health will create 40 new jobs in New London, as well as preserve 79 existing positions, the New London Day reported. The care center will shift statewide financial services of its medical group into an office building on Howard Street.

The news was announced Wednesday at Yale New Haven Hospital, according to the New London Day. Many of the 79 existing jobs in New London will move to the L+M medical office building at 194 Howard Street, which will undergo renovations. New London Mayor Michael Passero praised L+M’s affiliation with Yale New Haven Health following the announcement, the New London Day reported. He also said the city's housing market is surging due in part to the partnership.
