Celebrity Chef Robert Irvine joins Make-A-Wish® Connecticut’s “Evening of Wishes” Gala at Mohegan Sun Casinos March 23rd

Make-A-Wish® Connecticut will celebrate wishes come true for Connecticut kids at the annual “Evening of Wishes” Gala on March 23rd at the Mohegan Sun Casinos in Uncasville, Connecticut. The Make-A-Wish Foundation’s mission is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. The Connecticut chapter has granted over 2,100 wishes since its inception in 1986 and 163 wishes in its past Fiscal Year alone.
The Red Carpet themed evening will feature music, dancing and exciting live and silent auction items to bid on. “Voice of the UConn Huskies” Joe D’Ambrosio and Lite 100.5 Mid Day Host Joan Dylan join as co-hosts once again this year, along with this year’s Red Carpet emcees from Gold Sponsors NBC Connecticut, Morning Anchors Kerri-Lee Mayland and Brad Drazen. And present for the 2nd year in a row will be Honorary Event Chair and Celebrity Chef Robert Irvine of the Food Network’s Restaurant: Impossible. Chef Irvine is thrilled to return as guest chef to the Make-A-Wish Gala and will create and present the exclusive dinner menu live for event guests. Joining Chef Irvine will be Wish Kid Anne of Wilton, Connecticut, whose wish was to take cooking lessons in Italy, as Chef Irvine’s partner for the evening’s menu and festivities.
Anne will share her journey and her wish experience, along with other wish kids from across the state, in a celebration of wishes come true, and a mission to continue to grant the wishes of all Connecticut children with life-threatening medical conditions.
A special thank you to our Presenting Sponsors: Wireless Zone, First Alliance Lending, and Mohegan Sun.

About the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Connecticut, Inc.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Connecticut grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Wish-come-true experiences can do wonders by providing a much-needed break from lengthy hospital stays and medical treatments. They give back to a child what a serious medical condition can take away—the chance to simply enjoy being a kid. Wish kids choose something that will inspire happiness, and spend precious time with their families. The Connecticut chapter has made over 2,100 wishes come true since its inception in 1986.
