Congressman Joe Courtney endorses Marie Friess-McSparran

 The offices of U.S. Rep. Joe Courtney have released a  statement endorsing Marie Friess-McSparran’s candidacy for the New London City Council.

 Courtney, the Connecticut Second Congressional District Representative, released the following statement Friday:

 "It is my pleasure to enthusiastically support Marie Friess-McSparran’s election to put New London on course to a vibrant future.  Marie has been a great leader for New London and she cares deeply about New London and its residents. Marie will be a great addition to the Council. "

 Friess-McSparran said “she was honored by the endorsement and pledged to continue her close work with Congressman Courtney to ensure New London maintains and improves upon the close relationship that New London has with our federal legislators and the federal government.”
