Caruso Music Gives Away Free Pianos

It isn't often you see a promotion with the stipulation to "limit one free piano per family," but is making just such an offer this weekend.

The store is giving out free pianos while supplies last starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday. The store says most of the instruments are from customers who have purchased a new piano, and that the old pianos were removed from their home when the new ones were delivered.

"We hope that one of these free pianos will create an initial 'spark' of interest in the piano (and music in general) for a young or beginning pianist," the store says in its promotion.

People wishing to acquire a piano should be prepared to move it on Saturday or set up an appointment with Caruso Music's home delivery service. The pianos have not been evaluated by a technician and may not be reserved.

The store will also offer discounts on every piano in the store during the day.
