"Cherish New London" To Raise Money For Local Arts Organizations

's season of onStage performers will begin with a benefit concert to raise money for New London's arts organizations.

The opening show will take place at 8 p.m. on Oct. 6 at the Palmer Auditorium. The concert features Cherish the Ladies, an all-woman traditional Irish group. All proceeds from the show will be donated to the arts programs managed by the .

“Connecticut College is honored to be part of New London, and this is just one more way we can contribute to the vibrancy of our host city,” said Connecticut College president Leo I. Higdon, Jr.

The concert is $28 for general admission, $25 for seniors, and $14 for students.
