City May Team Up with Water Taxi Company to Manage Docks: New London Officials

NEW LONDON, CT - City officials are considering teaming up with a water taxi company to manage its downtown docks and more, NBC Connecticut reported.

The New London Port Authority may team up with the Thames River Water Taxi LLC, according to NBC Connecticut. The company would manage the docks and moorings along Waterfront Park.

Officials said the idea is still in planning stages, the New London Day reported. It is hoped the partnership would be a way to attract yachts and charters to the city, as well as put New London on the map as a boating destination.
