Comment During Pool Game Led To Fatal New London Shooting: Police

Police said in an arrest warrant that a comment made during a pool game allegedly led to a fatal shooting in New London.

NEW LONDON, CT — Police said in an arrest warrant that a comment made during a pool game between two men at American Legion allegedly led to a fatal shooting on April 2 in New London, as reported by the New London Day.

According to the Day, police said 27-year-old Joshua Fine's girlfriend allegedly made a comment to 39-year-old David Carson Edwards that made Fine jealous. Police said the two men fought inside the bar and later met up at a different location, where Edwards is accused of shooting Fine.
