Committee To Explore Trash Options In New London: Report
The group will explore possible alternatives to a pay-as-you-throw program.

NEW LONDON, CT — The City Council has approved the formation of a committee that will explore possible alternatives to a pay-as-you-throw program, the New London Day reported. The group has been named the Solid Waste Management Task Force and consists of eight members.
According to the New London Day, the committee will also look at ways to increase recycling and reduce the amount of solid waste in the city. The group is expected to begin meeting next week.
