Community Says Goodbye To John J. Kelley

Cars lined High, Elm, Burrows and Library Streets in Mystic on Thursday morning as hundreds of people came to the to say goodbye to . The Boston Marathon winner died Sunday at the age of 80. The New London native, who lived most of his life in Mystic and taught and coached at Fitch Senior High School in Groton, was a fixture throughout southeastern Connecticut.
