Connecticut Among Best States for Teachers, Study Says
In honor of International World Teachers Day, a new study has ranked states based on how teacher-friendly they are.

As the first month of school comes to a close, a recent study has revealed that Connecticut cracked the list of top 10 states for teachers.
In honor of the upcoming International World Teachers Day on Oct. 5 and the Every Student Succeeds Act soon to go in effect, research website WalletHub has compared the 50 states and the District of Columbia based on 16 key indicators of teacher-friendliness.
States were examined across two key dimensions: job opportunity and competition, and academic and work environment. Research was then evaluated using 16 relevant metrics, then graded on a 100 point scale.
