Construction Sunday at L+M

The main entrance and the outpatient services entrance at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital will be closed Sunday, September 22, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

During that time period, vehicle and foot traffic will not be allowed in the traffic circle by the entrances.

Visitors are asked to enter through the hospital’s ‘old’ Emergency Department entrance located just off the roadway that runs through the campus and connects Montauk and Ocean Avenues.

The ‘regular’ Emergency Department entrance, on Faire Harbour Place, will be open and fully functional during this time.

The hospital is conducting regular maintenance work to heating and cooling units located on the roof. The work is being done with the assistance of a crane, which will be parked in the main traffic circle.
