CT Man Arrested 3 Times in 3 Hours, Accused of Abusing 8-Week Old Puppy: Police

Police said a man was arrested three times in three hours after allegedly abusing a puppy and cursing in public.

PLYMOUTH, CT -- Police said a man was arrested three times in three hours Monday after allegedly abusing a puppy, NBC Connecticut reported.

Ronald Boivin, 45, of Plymouth was first arrested after he was reported to be drunkenly abusing an 8-week old puppy, according to NBC Connecticut. Animal Control took the puppy and Boivin was issued a misdemeanor summons.

Police said they shortly after found the suspect cursing about the incident in public and charged him with breach of peace, according to NBC Connecticut. He was again arrested on trespass charged after returning to the area when police had told him not to.
