Harbor Village has been Recognized by Vohra Wound Physicians as a Certified Center for Excellence in Wound Management. Whether it is Post Surgical Wound Care or Chronic Wound Management , Harbor Village's Interdisciplinary wound care team collaborates to develop a patient centered approach to achieve positive outcomes for patients with hard to heal wounds.
Secured Dementia Unit:
Our Goal is to meet the social, Psychological , physical and medical needs of our patients with family involvement. Our specialized program is designed to create a positive patient experience. Our Behavior Team meetings focus on nonpharmacological interventions and proactive approaches to care and behaviors. Harbor Village is dedicated to supporting the unique needs of patients with Dementia.
Pulmonary Program:
Harbor Village is proud to be one of the only Skilled Nursing Facilities in New London County, that has an L&M Affiliated , staffed Pulmonologist, Dedicated Respiratory therapist and trained PT/OT and ST Therapists to assist in the smooth transition and continuity of care for complex pulmonary patients.
