• Connecticut's Warrant Officer Candidate School Graduates first Female Engineer Warrant Officer (einpresswire.com) — A Connecticut National Guard milestone just took place at Camp Nett in Niantic, where Warrant Officer 1 Ashley Hripak became the program’s first female engineer warrant officer graduate. Drawing on her carpentry and construction background, she’ll now serve with the 192nd Engineering Battalion and hopes her achievement encourages more women to pursue technical military leadership roles.
