East Lyme defeated New London 5-3 as winning pitcher Dev Ostrowski struck out 12 over five innings, Tom Mason and Matt Malcom hit back-to-back home runs and Blake Bragaw drove in a run. For New London Brandon Beck pitched into the 4th inning, allowing just 2 runs and left with the score tied. He was then able to use his back in hitting a Homerun over the left field fence and into the stands. Beck was 3 for 3 on the day. New London was pushing hard up till the end, they had runners on second, Ethan Barnes, and third, Cole Potts, with 2 outs when the game ended. Shaun Cambisaca, and Zachary Skrabacz scored the 2 runs for New London both in the 2nd inning.
