Dog Found Tied to Playground Equipment at New London School

At 12:28 a.m. Friday, Jan. 16, a call came in for a dog that had been tied to the playground equipment and apparently abandoned at the old Edgerton School. It was 23 degrees out.

This poor guy is now safe and warm at the shelter, but if you recognize him, or have any information on who may have abandoned this dog, please call New London Animal Control at 860-447-5231.

All animals advertised by the City of New London Animal Control Division will not be considered for placement until they have passed a temperament evaluation at the end of their State mandated hold period. This dog is not available for adoption at this time.
