Driver Injured After Crashing into New London House
The driver was taken to the hospital for treatment, which happened to be across the street.
NEW LONDON, CT- A car crashed into the basement bulkhead of a house yesterday and left the driver injured, The Day reported.
Police said the driver lost control of the vehicle while pulling into the driveway next door, according to The Day. The car then crashed through a fence and off a wall before hitting the bulkhead.
The driver was taken to the hospital, which happened to be across the street, with injuries that were not life-threatening, as reported by The Day. The house received some structural damage from the crash, which was assessed by city fire and building officials.
