
Mary Donohue and Briann Greenfield have just written a new book on Connecticut's Jewish history -- A LIFE OF THE LAND: CONNECTICUT'S JEWISH FARMERS explores Jewish immigrants who established farming communities in rural Connecticut in the late 1890s, including one in Chesterfield. They will be talking about their research and sharing photos at the Second Sunday program of the New London County Historical Society at 4 on Sunday, 13 February.
