Coworking New London's First Meetup/Jelly

We are in the beginning phases of starting a Coworking group in the New London area. We would like to bring together independent professionals to create a sustainable, supportive work space in our community.

So What's Coworking?
Coworking is redefining the way we do work. The idea is simple: that independent professionals and those with workplace flexibility work better together than they do alone. Coworking answers the question that so many face when working from home: “Why isn’t this as fun as I thought it would be?” Beyond just creating better places to work, coworking spaces are built around the id ea of community-building and sustainability. Coworking spaces agree to uphold the values set forth by those who developed the concept in the first place: collaboration, community, sustainability, openness, and accessibility.--From blog.coworking.com

 What's a Jelly?

"Jelly is a casual working event. It's taken place in over a hundred cities where people have come together (in a person's home, a coffee shop, or an office) to work for the day. We provide chairs and desk/tables, wireless internet, and interesting people to talk to, collaborate with, and bounce ideas off of.

You bring a laptop (or whatever you need to get your work done) and a friendly disposition."

Stop by!, We'd love to have you.   We would like this to be an ongoing event, if the demand is there!

Please email coworkingnewlondon@gmail.com to RSVP. Space is limited!
