On April 4th, NL Healing Arts center will be holding a class on the fundamentals of Chinese Medicine. This class, led by Marc Mastrandrea L.Ac. will focus on introducing the basic theories of Chinese Medicine in a manner that can quickly be understood and applied. Ideas will be presented in a manner that shows their relation to other theories and evolving styles of medicine throughout the history of Chinese Medicine.
Basic philosophy including Yin and Yang, the 5 elements and 6 levels will be covered. Marc looks to also bring the unique ideas of Chinese physiology. This is rare taught effectively and Marc has made it a personal goal of his to bring to light Chinese Medical physiology in a clear and concise manner that can be compared and contrasted with western medicine.
The class will be 3 hours and will have plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
