The SE CT Autism Collaborative & Three Rivers Community College are teaming up to offer a provider fair in the college cafeteria. Professionals, agencies and organizations who work with children, teans, and adults on the autism spectrum will be displaying information about the services they offer. There will also be 3 mini-workshops: "Autism 101" presented by Matt Hoffman, social worker at UCFS; "Natural Supports" offered by Jon Dean, a marriage & family therapist in private practice; and "Advocating for Individuals with Autism" given by Julie Swanson who specializes in advocacy for individuals on the spectrum. Come see what is available in southeastern CT and learn a little more about autism.
