The art world is also pretty active on Saturday. The first Saturday means free admission at the , along with a 1 p.m. children’s project and 2:30 p.m. showing of Annie. The museum also holds a question and answer period with Memphis set designer Dave Gallo at 3 p.m.; tickets are $5 for members and $10 for non-members. From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., the opens a six artist exhibit entitled “Views & Vignettes.”

At 5 p.m. on Sunday, $20 gets you into a wine tasting at the Thames Yacht Club with proceeds benefiting Hospice Southeastern Connecticut.
