Some oil prices have again trended downward, with Bloomberg reporting growth in the United States and China, contraction in Europe, and an increase in OPEC output. CBS News reports that most of the increased demand has come from developing nations, and that China has criticized the U.S. decision to move forward with sanctions against Iran regarding that country's nuclear program. High gas prices will be one topic discussed at a summit between the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, according to the Christian Science Monitor.

Since Friday, the price of a gallon of regular grade gasoline has stayed fairly stable with no change in the $3.90 national average and a penny increase in the state average to $4.08, according to ConnecticutGasPrices.com. The cheapest reported price in the state was $3.88 at a Ravi in Hartford.

also has the cheapest reported price in New London, as cash payments at the Broad Street station get you a gallon for $4.02. This is followed by $4.03, shared by the on Broad Street and the Williams Street and stations. The between these latter two sites has $4.07 on the board.

In Groton, prices start at $4.05 at the Citgo on Gold Star Highway. This is followed by $4.07 at the Mobil on Gold Star Highway and Shell on Fort Hill Road. BJ's on Cross Road in Waterford has the cheapest option in the immediate area with $3.98; this is followed by $4.05 at the Bestway on Boston Post Road and $4.06 for cash payments at the Sunoco on the same road.
