New London, CT—Carey Kelly's house was broken into Saturday night June 15, and her backpack and car were stolen. And, her cat Miku escaped through the kitchen window, the one the thief used to gain access to her apartment. For Kelly, the loss of her cat is what's most upsetting and she has taken to Facebook to ask for help.

"They broke into my house, stole my backpack with everything in it and stole my car. I just want Miku back. She got out the window they broke into ..." she wrote and told Patch.

Kelly, a Fitch High School graduate and wellness nurse, told Patch that an unknown person broke into her apartment near Lawrence Memorial Hospital. While on the phone with "the insurance company," she described Miku.
