Interest Increases in New London Coast Guard Museum Due to “Hamilton”
The Coast Guard's connection to the hit Broadway show is renewing interest in New London and its upcoming museum.
NEW LONDON, CT -- While his story may rule Broadway, many are also taking interest in another chapter of Alexander Hamilton’s life, Fox 61 reported.
Due to his role in establishing the Coast Guard, New London is seeing renewed interest in the military division, according to Fox 61. The show is also increasing interest in the planned Coast Guard Museum.
The museum will now be putting a focus on Hamilton and his role in establishing the Coast Guard, Fox 61 reported. It is set to open in 2020 and will be the first museum in the country dedicated to the military division.
