Police have wrapped up an internal investigation stemming from a Connecticut College incident this fall.

NEW LONDON, CT - Police have wrapped up their investigation of a Connecticut College incident, The Day reported.

The investigation stemmed from events that transpired nearly two months ago, when police responded to an alleged domestic violence incident, according to The Day. A student alleged after the incident that police were combative and beat him for trying to explain what had happened.

The student, Lee Messier, 21, wrote a lengthy Facebook post detailing his version of what happened, according to The Day. Police reported that, after an internal investigation, responding officers were not out of line during the incident.
