This week’s Feature Friday is a simple reminder that it’s July, the heart of summer, and the fresh vegetables and locally made products are here in abundance, available each week at the Farmer’s Market located across from L+M on Montauk Avenue.
The market operates every Wednesday (through the end of October) from noon to 4 p.m., with local farmers offering their best lettuce, basil, corn, kale, squash, zucchini, raspberries, blueberries and a variety of other healthy treats, all local and fresh as can be.
Some vendors also offer pies, cheese products, jellies, jams, honey, hot sauces and more, so make a point to shop local, eat healthy, save gas, “go green” and feast on the bounty of summer!
