It’s World Breastfeeding Week, and who better for RN Wednesday than our own Kathy Mason, a board-certified lactation consultant.
Kathy has taken the lead at L+M in promoting the many benefits of breastfeeding. Her efforts helped L+M earn a prestigious “Baby Friendly” designation from the World Health Organization.
Pictured here with her daughter, Kimberly Pellerin, and granddaughter, Olivia, 13 months, Kathy says her job is rewarding because ‘breastfeeding enhances the health of both mother and child.’
