For this RN Wednesday, meet Renee Savage, interim manager of Infection Prevention.

“I love what I do,” she says. “I make an impact every day, keeping both staff and patients safe.”

Renee’s job entails investigating potential outbreaks, education, writing and updating policies and procedures, making surveillance rounds, investigating infections and more.

“There’s never a dull moment,” she says. “We also monitor hand hygiene, which is important for everyone. Everything we do is focused on safety.”
