For this edition of RN Wednesday, meet Toni Violette. She’s worked on many units at L+M Hospital since 1976, but for the last 15 years, she’s been at home on the Same-Day Surgery Unit.
“I like the pace,” she says. “I like seeing different patients every day and teaching them about their surgery and recovery.”
Violette recently helped the unit develop a new patient feedback questionnaire. “It’s important,” she says, “because it helps us know how to make things better for the patient.”
