Man Attempts Suicide While in New London Police Custody: Report
Police said the victim is currently hospitalized in serious condition.
NEW LONDON, CT - Police said a man was hospitalized early Tuesday after attempting suicide while he was in custody.
Police have not released the man's identity, but said he was being held on domestic violence charges. The suicide attempt took place close to 2 a.m.
A crew took the man to the hospital immediately after police located him. As of Tuesday, he remains hospitalized in serious condition.
