Man Ruled Incompetent To Stand Trial For Child Pornography Charges
A New London man charged with possession of child porn has been ruled incompetent to stand trial.

NEW LONDON, CT - A New London man charged with possession of child porn has been ruled incompetent to stand trial, the New London Day reported. He has subsequently been committed to Connecticut Valley Hospital for treatment.
David P. Gunn, 41, was arrested in December 2016 after police said they found images of child pornography on his electronic devices, according to the New London Day. The investigation began after a pharmacy reported Gunn was printing the images on their photocopy machine. (To sign up for New London breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
The suspect was found incompetent to stand trial at a competency hearing Monday, the New London Day reported. The suspect was committed for 60 days, and the case was continued to August 7.
