Man Sentenced for 2012 Green Garages Murder in New London: Report
A man was recently sentenced for his alleged role in a fatal stabbing connected to a massive drug operation.

NEW LONDON, CT - A New London man has been sentenced for his role in a fatal stabbing that occurred more than four years ago, The Day reported.
Jose Rosado Jr. was sentenced to five years in prison for his alleged role in the Sept. 12, 2012, stabbing of Javier Reyes in New London, according to The Day. Court documents indicate the suspect was hired for the murder by the leader of a drug dealing enterprise.
The suspected mastermind, Oscar “Tato” Valentin, operated his drug operations out of a series of Walker Street garage bays known as the Green Garages, according to The Day. The victim was stabbed multiple times outside his Huntington Street apartment and died shortly after.
