UPDATE: New London Teen Whose Body Found In Ocean Sunday ID'd: PD
Westerly, RI police confirm that the body of 15-year-old Jaimer Martin Ico Gregorio was found Sunday by a family friend.

WEEKAPAUG, RI — The body of the 15-year-old missing swimmer from New London was found in the Weekapaug section of Westerly on Sunday, Police Chief Paul Gingerella confirmed. Monday, Gingerella confirmed his identity: Jaimer Martin Ico Gregorio.
The teen had been swimming with family in the area of Dunes Park Beach in Misquamicut near a jetty when he went missing Thursday evening. A large rescue mission continued throughout the night, but by Friday morning, it had become a recovery mission.
Sunday, as they've been doing since the boy first went missing, first responders and rescue service personnel had been searching the coastline.

Early Sunday evening, his body was found in the ocean near Wawaloam Drive, which runs parallel to the shoreline in Weekapug, and a nearby family beach.
Gingerella said Gregorio's body "was located by a friend of the family, who had been in the area along with many other friends and family the past few days."

The Office of RI Medical Examiner will continue to investigate, Gingerella said.
