Naked Man Leads Police On Chase Through New London

NEW LONDON, CT - Police and fire personnel were lead on a chase through New London on Wednesday by a naked man, the New London Day reported. The man lead public safety personnel through city streets after he ran from fire officials.

Police officers were called to assist firefighters with a medical call on Vauxhall Street, according to the New London Day. Officers then learned a naked 29-year old man had run away from responding firefighters. (To sign up for New London breaking news alerts and more, click here.)

The man was eventually detained by police and fire personnel working together, the New London Day reported. He was then taken to a hospital for medical evaluation.
