New London Announces Fall Yard Waste Collection Schedule

NEW LONDON, CT – City officials have announced the fall 2018 yard waste collection schedule for New London. Residents are asked to please leave their bags curbside on Saturday, Nov. 10, and Saturday, Dec. 1, for yard waste collection. Leaves can also be brought to the Transfer Station.

Residents are asked to keep in mind the following:

• Brown paper Kraft Bags required: available at retail stores; no leaves in plastic bags
• No garbage in leaf bags
• Leaves, yard waste, grass clippings and small quantities of brush tied with string, no longer than four feet are accepted

Transfer Station Hours: Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. & 12:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., and the following Saturdays: November 3, November 17, November 24 and December 1.
