New London Delivery Man Attacked, Robbed Near Bishop Court: Police
Police urge anyone with information to contact them immediately.
NEW LONDON, CT – Police said a man delivering food for a restaurant near Bishop Court reported being attacked and robbed Friday, The Day reported.
The man was an employee of the Shanghai Garden Restaurant, according to The Day. The man said he was approached by three or four men during a delivery run.
The victim also reported being struck several times in the head and face, after which the men took the food and a cellphone, according to The Day. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries that were not life-threatening.
