New London Man Drives Wrong Way on Road After Hitting Car: Police
The suspect was arrested on a number of charges, including driving under the influence.

NEW LONDON, CT – A local resident is facing charges after police said he hit a car and drove the wrong way down a road, The Day reported.
Police said Elber Mena, 27, struck a vehicle at the intersection of Colman Street and Jefferson Avenue, according to The Day. He then allegedly drove the wrong way down Jefferson Avenue, which is a one-way street.
The suspect was arrested on a number of charges, including driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, The Day reported. He is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 12.
