New London Pair Arrested for Stealing More than $500 in Merchandise from Sears: Police
Witnesses said the suspects grabbed merchandise from a display and ran out of the store.

WATERFORD, CT – Police found and arrested two New London residents for stealing a significant amount from Sears on Thursday, The Day reported.
Police said the pair had stolen more than $500 worth of merchandise from the Sears located in the Crystal Mall, according to The Day. Witnesses said the suspects grabbed merchandise from a display, ran out of the store and drove away in a nearby vehicle.
Scott Wagner, 39, and Kimberly Rosenthal, 32, were charged with larceny, while Wagner was also charged with being a fugitive from justice, The Day reported. Police said they used a combination of witness accounts and surveillance video to get a description of the suspects.
