New London Police Arrest 4 Local Men as Part of Quality of Life Initiative
Anyone with information concerning narcotics activity is encouraged to contact the New London Police Department.
NEW LONDON, CT - Members of the New London Police Department’s Vice and Intelligence Section made four arrests over the past week on narcotics-related charges.
Officers worked with members of the Connecticut State Police - Statewide Narcotics Task Force-EAST to conduct multiple narcotics field operations, according to a release. The initiative was meant to address quality of life issues and concerns in different areas of New London.
The the following individuals were arrested and charged:

- Hector Pena-Tavares, 33, of New London
- Miguel Martin, 38, of New London
- Henry Alvino, 35, of New London
- Angel Morales, 43, of New London
Police seized a total of 59 grams of cocaine, two handguns [.45 cal. Taurus Semiauto pistol & .380 cal. Kahr Semiauto pistol], a 2003 BMW 325XI and $7,674.
