New London Police Assist in Arrest of Man on 5 Warrants After 7 Mile Chase

WATERFORD, CT – Police arrested a Groton man wanted on five warrants Thursday evening following a seven mile chase into New London, The Day reported.

Hassan Ibrahim, 25, was wanted on warrants out of Ledyard, Groton and Waterford for failing to appear in court on larceny and weapon charges, according to The Day. He was spotted on Waterford Parkway North, then sped away when officers approached.

Officers pursued Ibrahim through Waterford, onto Interstate 95 and eventually into New London where he took off on foot and was arrested, The Day reported. New London Police and state police assisted in the arrest.
