New London Police To Digitize Car Accident Reports
The city will embark on the project with the help of Carfax.

Information via City of New London
NEW LONDON, CT — On April 1, 2020, the New London Police Department is digitizing its crash reports through a partnership with the Carfax Police Crash Assistance Program. The reports are stored electronically in a secure database and available for purchase online @ http://www.crashdocs.org./
To purchase a report, select the State* (CONNECTICUT) on the homepage and New London Police Department under Agency* and click ‘Find a Report’. You will then be taken to a page where you can enter the following information your email (optional), driver or involved party’s last name (required), date of accident (required), and report number (required) followed by clicking search tab. The process will then direct you through 3 easy additional steps.
Additionally, Crashdocs has Customer Service support available to all report purchasers in the event that your report is not found online. We ask that you contact them first through email @ Crashdocs@carfax.com. They will assist in locating your report or contacting us for a status update. Please note that it takes (typically) 5-7 days from the date of the accident for reports to show up in the system.
Working with Carfax Police Crash Assistance, the New London Police Department is better serving our community.
