New London Police Investigating Man Apparently Struck by Vehicle

NEW LONDON, CT- A man was taken to the hospital Thursday after apparently being struck by a vehicle, as reported by The Day.

Police and fire departments responded to a man unconscious in the road close to 11:30 a.m., The Day reported. He was found at the intersection of Montauk Avenue and Orchard Street.

He was treated at the scene and taken to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital, according to The Day. Police revealed few details about the man and the incident as it is still under investigation.
